Historical Bodegas Bilbainas Tasting Event (plus dinner at La Piperna) (Bodega Santa Cecilia - Madrid): Tons of new french oak (75%). Little over extracted and pretty difficult to drink at this point. Chocolate and crude cigar tobacco on the nose. Palate showed excessive alcohol yet.
It's time will come someday (?) perhaps for those lovers of international made, high expression wines.

Very slow in opening up. The last drops seemed very promising but for now it seems safer to age it some years. A bit like Contino in style.
