This wine is absolutely singing! 65% Shiraz, so quite punchy for a blend. Will last for many more years in the cellar, but it is absolutely delicious right now. I was recently lucky enough to do a tasting at the Henschke cellar door, it was a really lovely experience.

Great Syrah blend from the Barossa Valley. Very dark berried with lots of sweet berry notes and some burned vanilla. Nice savory finish. Just soft aging notes, can easily age another 6-10 years. (IG)

Good warm vintage. 65% Syrah, 23% cab, 9% Cab Franc, 3% Merlot. Aged 20% in new oak, 70% of which is French, the remainder American.
Nice, easy drinking, good fruit intensity, sweet black and red fruit. Quite big, balanced by good acidity. Long and showing complexity. Drinking now and will last another 5 to 10 years.

Dark, opaque purple, hint of brick around the rim. Loads of ripe black fruit on the nose intially. Decanted for an hr then drunk over following 3 hrs. Low tannin and acidity, quite lush and fruit forward with sweet blackberry & blackcurrant fruit. With air developed coffee, cacao and some spice. Not the most complex, but delicious and very drinkable. Went well with a Cote du boeuf.
