Tasted blind. Red color with slight bricking edge. Mistook this one to be older than it was, perhaps an '08. I guess the biodynamicity accounts for the prematurely aged color on this one. The nose is heavenly. Peppermint, tomato sauce and italian herbs. Strawberries, crushed rocky minerality, cigar and cherries. Delightful nose. The palate is wonderful, but has a bit less concentration than expected for this one to be a grand cru, so I correctly put it at 1. Cru level. But I also guessed Vosne on the village, so I should not brag too much... Lots of clean and clear fruit, drying tannins in the finish and a very well put together wine.

Even better than the last bottle, nice deep red in color, supremely floral nose, very pure fruited. Nicely layered palate with dark tea like flavors at the end, ripe yet fine tannins, medium plus finish. A beauty.

Slow oxed for 5 hours. Nose was very floral with tangerine peel, red fruit, and caramel. Palate had the depth and length for a pc with bright and ripe fruit. This will be spectacular with you give it more time. Very impressed with Pacalet. My first bottle and wont be my last!

Purple fruit, spice and flower. Developed weight with aeration. Pure fruit on the palate. Easy to like.
