  Deep red color, medium body. Dark jammy fruit on the nose with a hint of wet earth. With the color and bouquet, you'd expect a much bigger body but this is light to medium bodied. Lively acidity (more than last year) and a medium finish. This is a really great food wine, we had it with mussels in a tomato sauce and spaghetti-meatballs.
