Very much agree with Angryphoton: still very primary. I detected a note of petrol on first opening my 375ml. Semi-reserved nose of dried apricots and tangerine. Shows hints of botrytis. Full bodied due to the creaminess of the sugar. Excellent balance between acidity and sweetness. It was not as expressive as I would have guessed, but I will revisit the next day. 94(+)? I wish the estate bottled Auslesen wines from this vineyard more frequently as it seems quite promising.
Served very cold, nice balance of yellow fruit, some white flowers and a tiny hint of petrol. This was sweet but not cloying. If I were to nitpick, it could have used a touch more acidity. This is still a bit primary, as it was mostly sweet fruit with very little secondary development.
From memory, this was dark and savory yet with great lift and precision. My first Dellchen, and an interesting departure on the flavor profile I typically associate with Dönnhoff.

more restrained than I was expecting from such a botrytis rich vintage. So elegant w crystalline purity in the acids. Fruit spectrum is broad but not effusive. Noticeable botrytis on the nose but the palate is quite clean. Made a bottle of Tirecul la Graviere look downright syrupy and clumsy. I will probably drink one every few years to see how they go. Drink great now, last forever and all that jazz.

Complex wine with beautiful acidity-sweetness balance. Too young though.
