  PnP, then drunk over two days, and a very small leftover five more days later. Classic elegance, beguiling and refined nose of sweet white fruit, herbal and even floral notes. On the palate it has a nice balance, with a deep mineral core in the midpalate and a long finish more on the fruit. It kept well for a week, but did not improve.

  10 years after Riesling tasting - 2013 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Sophienwald Universal
  Bad luck that we drunk the Dellchen next to its bigger brother. Beautiful wine that would even more shine, if drunk alone. Fine, elegant nose. On the palate also very round and balanced, very mineral, lots of ripe fruit and zests. Long lingering finish. 92-93

  Dönnhoff Dellchen Vertical Tasting (Frankfurt): Baked apple, salty caramel, cinnamon, wine has developed nicely and is in a great spot now. Acidity is present, but nicely buffered. Great wine.
