Wet rocks, saline, citrus and juniper berries. The wine is in such a sweet spot right now. Wide open, no tartness at all. Complex, balanced and 30 second aftertaste. Blindly I would have said 1cru Chablis, but then comes the salt water feel in the end that you really only find in great mature Muscadet. 91 - 92. Only had one bottle, should have both a full crate. Tres Bon!

Lime zest, grapefruit pith, gooseberry, lemon curd, smoke, flint. Rich, with a GG-like impact, the wine is textured with brisk acidity. Razor sharp finish. This stands out from the rest of the lineup -- neither good nor bad, just different. Drink now and over the next few years.

Metro Bistrot magnum dinner. The only time I've tasted the "Trois" and while I certainly liked it I didn't find it all that different from a Clos de Briords from a richer vintage. But I guess that's a good thing. Certainly good, the expected acidity and minerality, and full-flavored enough to match with scallops in a tomato-tinged sauce and skate in a saffron cream sauce.

Trending slightly toward the more golden, secondary side of things, but otherwise still svelte and bright.
