"Bourgogne" theme, sold by Lavinia. Lighter than Bizot, less structured, white fruit and woody with ok acidity, which comes out better with air. Nothing DRC here. 90

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“No” day): Medium yellow with greenish tints, brilliant colours.
Golden citrus with peels and yellow fruits, petite white florals, minty spices. No oak influence and feels quite effortless.
Very precise and super bright acidity but not at all “painful”, thanks to its great density and almost slightly oily texture on palate. Flavours that are pure and consistent with nose, this is more of a “zen” style white which emphasizes balance and transparency. Very long with its fine minerality from attack to finish.
Enjoyable wine indeed and to me this is also very complete, although it may receive unsolicited expectations due to its producer.
To me this is a wine that is true to its origin (i.e. Hautes Cotes de Nuits blanc), combining more forward minerality, some youthful austerity that sets it apart from Chablis / Cotes de Beaune blancs. 93-94 points to me.
2 hours upon opening, 1/2 left: On nose more smoky and fresh herbs. The palate really has more salinity and probably better grip.

Sharp, fresh and precise, very citrusy. Palate with good attack, at this point very backward, need more than a few years to loosen up. Decent finish with good minerality.

Felt advanced. Not one of the better bottles I’ve had.

Quite high level of acidity. Citrus. Needs food.
