  • lemon cream flavors, pain grille, with well integrated, toasty and spicy oak that is quite silky and long. A very nice California Chardonnay that is very drinkable and quite enjoyable. The wine has some good acidity and backbone with very little hint of age, and I imagine the age has allowed the oak to better integrate. Hard to tell it is from California except perhaps a hint of 7-up flavor that you wouldn't see in a Bourgogne Blanc, but I think some would be fooled. Very nice.

  • This was a fantastic white when we visited the winery. It was forgotten and we opened it perhaps just past the nick of time. The wine was intact, but the volatiles were virtually gone. Mostly wood and softened fruit left. Drinkable, however. Will buy again.
