  Popped and poured through an aerator. This was really, really nice. Looks more like a Pinot than a Bordeaux blend, but what's there is beautifully balanced wine that shows ripe fruit and secondary character without any greenness. Soft and approachable, but well focused. Went beautifully with a slow-cooked brisket. Possibly the best red wine I've tasted from LI, and I've had a bunch. 91.
