Pineapple sorbet. It came across as very sweet at first, but the more we drank, the less we thought about the sugar, and the more we experienced a balanced, refreshing treat. Moderate acidity, some ginger flavor, still a bit of an edge.
Tasting at Maximin Grünhauser (Maximin Grünhauser Estate): The nose is on the lighter side at the moment, showing some peach scents. On the palate, a long slow build of sweet flavors and acidity work together very well. Red apple flavors mix with pure limes and a touch of peach. It starts light, and remains clean all the way through, making the slow build of intensity quite engaging.

Impeccably balanced, light and fresh and sweet and round. Wonderfully complex already, great persistence, like a feather. 93-94+
