At least this one was drinkable! A fairly simple Pinot, color and nose typical Anderson V. certainly close to the end of life. Lack of pedigree here is the biggest problem. Drink now thru now.

Double decanted. Black cherry, spice, vanilla, cream, cedar on the nose. More of the same on the palate, fruits tends to portiness when backed by the alcoholic burn. Hmm. Again, after trying this from Coravin and then giving it some air this shows a lot better.

Pinot and Pate matching (KC's place): From Coravin. Spice over muted, jammy, black plum, some polished oak. Tight tannins, the fruit is over ripe and there is a little bitterness.

Good Pinot Noir flavor, but a little harsh on the finish. Paired well with chicken in a tomato sauce.
