Notes of bright cherry, raspberry, red plum, new leather, and violets. Lighter in style, as one would expect from this grape varietal. Slightly tart and thoroughly crisp and refreshing. Reasonable length finish. Very enjoyable summer red.

For a true Beaujolais this is pretty good find in the US. Easy red fruits which would go great with French torts from Paris. Enjoyable for a Beaujolais

Clear, medium purple. Clean, medium-intensity, youthful nose, with aromas of raspberry, plum, cherry, and violet. Dry on the palate, medium(-) body, medium(+) acid, low tannin, medium(-) alcohol, medium(-) intensity, and flavors of strawberry, raspberry, cherry flowers, spice, and pepper. Medium(-) finish. Good, drink now, mid-price.

Opened up beautifully. Initially closed: subdued noses of violet, lime, and sweet potato, with stony mineral which contributed to simple soft thickness rather than complexity or quality. Over time, it gained raspberry fruits with juicy bite, and each elements opened up into more flowerly whole. Minerality contributes to length and persistence. Finishes leafy and saline. Classical example of nice baujolais. Though a little low-toned, for the price paid, definitely overperformed and nuanced.
