Crimson in color. 14.6% ABV. Pretty nose of dark fruits, baking spices and flowers. Medium to full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Loaded with lush, silky fruits. Black cherry, wild strawberry, cloves and sarsaparilla on the palate. Koplen always was little more dark fruited than most of the Kosta Browne lineup and this wine is no exception. Best over the next 1-2 years.

WCC West Coast Pinot Noir (Fort Orange Club, Albany, NY): Powerful nose of black fruit. Rich in the mouth with some tannin and lots of red and black fruit.
