  • Really fresh and crisp, but combined with some slightly spicy and citrussy (grapefruit) complexity, this is probably the best Albarino i have ever had. The bottle was empty in no time. Perfect with barbecued sea bass.

  • After trying many white wines with fresh dungeness crab, Alberino is king for not competing with the the slight sweetness of the meat and making every bite seem like the first. I do find, however that many Alberinos are not so great on their own...with the exception of Zarate, which is a beautiful wine. It's still crisp and clean and refreshing with the crab, but has a very pleasant floral aroma and creaminess to the body, relatively speaking. I will search this out for the next crab feast for sure.
