Integrated bright aromas of barnyard, earth, roses, and redcurrants. Sweet, sour, and salty red fruit on the palate with a generous spread, a crisp tannic bite, and a lingering acid finish. Excellent with Vietnamise style squab and stir fried green beans.

Nose is dark cherry with a whiff of savory green pepper. Something vaguely like iodine. Mouthfeel is medium; great integration between the acid and the fruit, but would prefer a little more definition. Medium-long finish of blackberry with fine tannins.
Delicious, very drinkable, and well-balanced. Time in the bottle has presumably helped.

Gentle generous aromas of aromatic red plums, mocha, soil, with a hint of cardamom. Sweet acid atttack on the front of the palate with a firm tannic fruit core and a bright acid finish. Stands up well to tofu burgers and sea slaw. Which ain’t easy.
