This wine has improved in the last year. It is better balanced and showing more complexity on the finish. Decent table wine and very good value for $13.

This wine was best 30 minutes after opening. Quite good initially for a $13 wine, but it completely fell apart after about five hours. Not a wine for aging, but a perfectly fine table wine to go with dinner.

Reinforces that Portugal is making beautiful table wines at stellar QPR. A big bottling that walks daintily with food. Plum and anise, hint of game and toasted hazelnut. Body has more spice, green to brown to accompany a mix of black fruits. Deep color and development, medium tannins, medium finish. Drank well from the start, but was ideal 2-3 hours in with little assistance. Finished with red cherry, hint of red oak, hints of smoke. Great with a number of meats and vegetables. One of the best QPRs I've found in 2015.

Nice fairly simple wine. Fairly light, drinking well. Can not expect much more for 13. Would buy again.

One note - raisin dominant - got flatter as time went on. Not recommended.
