Ok, good for a QPR but would be better for a $15 wine. Paid $19.95. It has good flavor not to tannic and what I would call a overall mellow and well balanced wine.

Deep ruby/purple in color, the nose had blackfruits, vanilla and green pepper. The palate was better on the second night, with nice intensity and purity, but a bit more structure would have improved the wine. Blackcurrants, blackberries and cocoa on the somewhat soft palate. Very nice for a second label (from Whiethall Lane). Probaly best within 1-2 years (B+).

Sensational value for a Cab of this quality. Great vintage, but so recent that it drinks very young still. Lots of blackberry and oak on the nose. Rich and tannic but not cloying: Blackberry, cocoa, dusty earth. Nice wine with slow roasted pork ribs in a soy-orange juice-ginger glaze. Again, great value for under $20. Drink through 2008.
