Just a hint of that PYCM matchstick and then pure white peach and acacia. Midweight peach flavors, good minerality, ripe acidity. Pure and linear. The 2013 La Garenne is very good.

Initial sulfur/extreme reduction blows off to reveal beautiful white with as others note prominent extract and minerality. Needs a few hours of air to really shine. No botrytis I often find with the vintage. Should hold for a very long time.

Smokey matchstick reduction and white peach are the name of the game here, pure and pretty. Killer concentration on the palate, you recognize the 60 year age on these vines, dense coupled with copious dry extract.

There's a whiff of struck match and the finest of white peach. The palate is linear fresh and minerally. It has excellent detail and depth of flavour and finishes with almost Chablis-like salinity. Lovely wine with great purity.

So pure, direct and rocky. The flesh has fallen from its minerally bones and it is quite compact and linear. There’s a touch of spice from the oak and a big squeeze of citrus.
