Decanted for 2 hours. Served blind, wine B. This had a similar nose to wine C, so I guessed them as a producer pair. Flinty, mineral, orchard fruit and menthol on the slightly medicinal nose. Beautiful palate, deep and concentrated without being heavy. More pear and lemon rind on the palate, this finished long and stony. Excellent.
Within the last month I’ve had 3 PYCM 2013s, all have been excellent wonderfully balanced flavorful wines. 13 was a challenging vintage but PYCM seems to have figured it out.

Holiday Burgundy Lunch: Good stuff, ripe fruit not overly tropical as some '13's can be. Balanced and tasty, guessing this is still not showing all that it has. Will be interesting to revisit in a few years.

13 Bâtard flight -- WOTF. Reduction is perfectly absorbed into the rich, concentrated fruit. Ethereal aromas and a long, singing vibrant palate.

Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys La Paulée Auction; 3/10/2022-3/11/2022 (Le Bernardin Prive - New York NY): In 2013 "Bâtard" horizontal. Apple and pear with some mint and anise. This has excellent concentration, starting off lush and opulent, but ending with a bright edge. Faint reduction was gone within minutes of pouring, and this wine kept getting better and better with more time and air.
