Nose of dark cherry, cassis, cigar box, light tobacco and milk chocolate.
Palate is medium bodied with beautiful concentration and spice but balance in the finish.

Tasted by CabIsKing on 11/16/2009 & rated 87 points: Nothing spectacular going on here. Very disappointed. Black fruits, cassis and vanilla on the nose with a bit of the same on a weak finish. Alot of better bottles out there for the same price or cheaper. (835 views)
 Tasted by runner5 on 8/23/2009 & rated 85 points: (854 views)
Tasted by Grizwine on 8/6/2009 & rated 92 points: (897 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 1/25/2009 & rated 86 points: Good enough effort. Cassis, dried herbs and vanilla. Perhaps a bit too much oak. Lacking energy or excitement. Average. (2200 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 1/20/2009 & rated 85 points: Perhaps pairing this with BBQ was a mistake, but this really was a disappointment. Mute nose, average palate, medium short finish. Nothing here really excited me. (2210 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 12/21/2008 & rated 88 points: Very nice, well-behaved, balanced Cab, with classic cassis, dried herbs and vanilla flavors. Smooth texture and quite drinkable, but the back end was a bit weak, with a somewhat attenuated finish. (2200 views)
Tasted by Grizwine on 11/30/2008 & rated 89 points: (1704 views)
Tasted by jrnazzaro on 11/25/2008 & rated 89 points: (1699 views)

Tasted by TCKM on 10/6/2008 & rated 89 points: Dark purple color and nose of black fruits and oak. Black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, vanilla and cassis. Good mouthfeel and structure. A good bordeaux blend, but the QPR seems a little off... there are better choices out there for $40. (2228 views)
Tasted by winelovr2001 on 9/24/2008 & rated 88 points: A nice napa cab...not worth the tariff, but good. Oak, dill, dried herbs, red fruits and firm tannins. (2234 views)
Tasted by spendergast on 9/12/2008 & rated 88 points: A reasonably nice bordeaux blend with dark fruit a bit overshadowed by oak, but still a decent everyday bordeaux blend. (2274 views)
Tasted by wirelesswine on 7/3/2008 & rated 89 points: (1740 views)
Tasted by sneezy on 3/23/2008 & rated 89 points: Weak nose when compared to an adjacent Bordeaux, tasted a bit of wood then berries, a bit acidic but tannins were better at beginning. the wine did not improve with time to open. Not worth the money when compared to similarly priced Chateaux Laroque Bordeaux. (2618 views)
Tasted by Surferdude on 12/29/2007 & rated 88 points: (2068 views)

About red wine
The variety Red Bordeaux Blend on CellarTracker implies any blend using any or all of the five traditional Bordeaux varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. As such, this is used worldwide, whether for wines from Bordeaux, Meritages from California and Canada, some Super-Tuscan wines etc.
WineAmerica (National Association of American Wineries) | Free the Grapes!
California Wines (Wine Institute of California)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in almost 10 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
