Five years old and fantastic, incredible aged complexity for a Savvy. Nose of mango skin, overripe gooseberry, peach and confectionery pineapple, sweetpea. Palate introducing orange, lemon, grassy and green flavours (sweet basil, lime zest). Interesting stuff, certainly at the end of its life but still full of acidity and flavour.

Colour light straw. Nose of white stone fruit, soft white melon.
In mouth is apples, ripe melon, light-medium body only, wet river stone minerality, some good powerful essence, a freshness rather than a richness or lush style, needs cellaring to mature, till 2019 I'd guess. Might devel' into slightly stinky interesting barnyard complexity, it feels like it could. A 'foodie' style, it's not 'big' soft and easy Sav Blanc you could drink all night. Well made, classy wine that will get better in the cellar. Different - in style - from the previous vintage.
VFM? At approx £17.00 not cheap - but class costs.

As per the 2012 note - similar profile - nice and complex for lower price ~20$ CAN...Tropical fruit notes, a little spice, and Grapefruit note that come together in nice harmony on finish. Better with food vs. solo...2 yrs old and will hold and mature i would think for 2+ yrs more.

Dan Murphy's wine panel overrated this one, just for a change... Outstanding nevertheless!
