  Nice pinot, which is JUST over the hill (barely) but still was wonderfully complex. Poured a pale violet into the glass. The nose was showing dirty black cherry and a little bit of oregano? cumin? Something like that. The entry of this wine is dirty black cherry up front, a hint of earth, and a slight tertiary note that wasn't too obnoxious with nice acidity that was good with food but balanced enough to enjoy alone. The middle of the wine was a little darker, but showed more of the dirty black cherry with a little bit of dust. Finished with a little bit of black pepper, not much tannin. Enjoyed this bottle this afternoon with pork loin, sweet potato and broccoli and oh wow.
