  Beautiful wine - we just bought two of these bottles thru a friend. We thought we were getting 2014, but 2012 showed up. The drinking window says 2015-2017 so I was a bit concerned - but not a problem. This is a full body wine with big fruit - cherries specifically and has a nice long finish. Not at all too old. Enjoy!

  this has added a ton of weight since I had it in the tasting room a couple years ago. similar notes to others, smokey nose with a bigger, richer palate of dark cherry. went great with grilled lamb chops. pricey but well made

  Smoke, cherry cola, some earth on the nose. Well balanced with cherry and raspberry flavors on the palate. Long finish with licorice notes.

  Not being one of my favorite Hartford Family pinots (this was part of a club shipment), we decided to give this particular wine a good 2-hour decant before trying. I think this made a big difference as the fruit was fuller and richer (both on the nose and palate) than I had remembered when trying in the tasting room. Also a much longer finish. Perfect partner with grilled salmon.
