  Good zin. Nose is dark fruit. Plum, leather, some pepper. Sweetness is balanced by acidity.

  A decent mouth of bright fruit with a little olive and prune in the background. Still high in acid with moderate tannin impact and fir, oak and berry in the nose.

  Focused and ripe fruit flavor that easily contains the alcohol. Good structure with adequate acidity and medium to long length and pleasant finish.

  Served blind
  Medium ruby with a scarlet rim suggesting a few years of age
  Nose full of over ripe strawberry fruit and alcohol
  Tons of overripe strawberry fruit on the palate with a whopping dose of alcohol (15.1%) Blind I first thought this was an over ripe Sonoma pinot rather than zin. It’s really rather delicious and drinking well now, and dry enough to serve as a good foil to BBQ.
  I’d serve on the cool side.

  Usual Turley power Zin opening. Less fruit and subtlety than best yet delicious. Balanced and well defined. Mature.
