A rich and smoky nose of leather, figs, walnuts, spice-heavy apple pie from green apples, very savory and even a little salty-but not in a saline/coastal way, I mean like a tin of salted mixed nuts. This saves it from being heavy or sweet, though it is certainly rich and full. Wonderful, camp-fire-like peat, very classically Highland.
