Medium ruby color, medium body. a bit light for a CdR (Grenache), but good. Nose has red fruit anise, some slight minerality. Would easily pair with wide assortment of food. 14% ABV, cork. Priced well at $10.

Plum, raspberry, red licorice and a hint of eucalyptus on the nose. Plums, dried berries, baking spice and cocoa powder on the palate. Medium to full bodied with nice acidity accented with a touch of white pepper and crushed stone. A beautifully balanced wine well worth the price of admission!

Extra point for value! at $11 from local Costco this is punching way above its weight class. Deep red and dark jammy fruits, well integrated tannins. Very well done at this price point. more please.

Martine's Wines with Martine Saunier (Formento's - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Ripe black fruit with some jammy character. Good weight and balance for its level and cost. Good+ overall now, especially for its level.
