Weil Gräfenberg vertical 2003-2013 (Restaurant 360 Grad, Limburg/Lahn): Popped and poured. Clear, lemon golden color. Beautiful fresh, mineral, energetic nose with fine fruit. On the palate phenolic, high, ripe acidity, rather cool. Some fine vanilla, ripe fruit, lots of mineral notes, tension and energy. Long finish. Still upscale potential. My favorite vintage this day. 94+

Recht schwierige Nase, irgendwie organisch und erinnert an die wilden Säureexperimente im Chemie-Unterricht. Außerdem etwas medizinal. Wir haben lange überlegt, ob der Wein in Ordnung ist, uns am Ende aber dafür entschieden.
Mit Luft legt sich das. Dann wird’s recht frisch, etwas kräutrig, und es gibt viel helles aber reifes Steinobst.
Am Gaumen einerseits recht füllig, trotzdem hat’s einen sehr guten Säurezug und eine schöne griffige Mineralik. Hier auch eher hell gehalten, die leichte Medizinalnote findet sich auch hier, allerdings nun in kleinster Weise störend.
Sehr gute Länge.

Tasted mit mr_mando: Nase stark, Steinobst, Marille, Pfirsich. Am Gaumen Schmelz, fruchtig, ausgeprägtes Frucht-Säure Spiel, komplex. Langer Abgang. Ausgezeichnet.
