Kind of disappointing. I know this is not supposed to be an incredible wine, but I did expect more. Lacks identity and complexity at a level where its too noticeable. Yes, it is a tasty wine, and even could be titled as "Well-made" but that is about it. No soul though. Good fruitiness and a nice finish. Tannins and integrated and soft. An avarage pretty good bottle of wine. Drink up, or if you can .. sell/trade. Id rather spend my money elsewhere.

Extremely dark red color; very earthy. Cherries and some cassis. Finish was long but not wonderful. No buy for me at ~$60. Tasted with Jacques Lardiere (the Jadot winemaker) at a local French restaurant. To start we tasted 14 barrel samples of 2000-2001 wines before moving into the bottled wines.
