Having pulled one of these just a few weeks ago, I’ve nothing new to add from my last comments of, “Such excellent balance. So many layers of flavor.” 14.9% alc. With cheeses of St. Angel, Estomoniere, a truffled cheese and Haberton over crusty bread and oysters with the Schreibers and Fords. Highly Recommended.

What is it about these Durell Chardonnays?! Big wines which are neither oaky nor flabby. The nose are palate mirror one another with lemon marmalade, cocoanut, pear, golden delicious apple, and baking spices. Such excellent balance. So many layers of flavor. 14.9% alc. With cheese fondue. Highly Recommended.

Deeply hued golden sunshine yellow. Buttery and creamy with pineapple, apple and popcorn. A very big wine. At the Shack with pork belly and peach salsa.

Taken to the Thomases for dnner with the Schribers and Bugases. Butterscotch tempered with acidity. Lively and refined, yet big wine. Excellent balance.

No notes since we just drank one last weekend, but enjoyed with salmon over bacon cassoulet and crab cakes at Table 44.
