  Opaque purple. Tobacco, musty blackberry. Rich and full mouthfeel. Grippy, tart, sweet berry, cherry, raspberry. Would suggest more time in cellar.

  Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der 2012er Corral de Campanas saftig, Der 2012er Corral de Campanas duftet intensiv nach süßen schwarzen Kirschen, Cassis, mediterranen Kräutern und Eukalyptus. Begleitet wird das Ganze von Aromen, die an dunkle Schokolade und Lakritz denken lassen.
  
  Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der 2012er Corral de Campanas saftig, kraftvoll und zugleich erfrischend. Seine Säure-und Tanninstruktur wirkt reif und aufgrund seiner Jugendlichkeit angenehm fordernd.

  This is the entry-level wine of the Quinta Quietud estate (founded in 1999, organic farming, made from the younger vineyards). A one hundred percent Tinta de Toro wine ; 40 percent of the wine was kept in stainless steel tanks, the remaining 60 percent was aged for 6 months in American and French Allier barriques (1/2 new, 1/2 second use). Very similar in style to the previous vintage, perhaps a tad less concentrated, but still a great value. Dark cherry red in color with violet reflections at the rim. Youthful nose with scents of ripe red and black berries, plum, leather and a hint of white pepper. The elegant and juicy palate shows powerful red fruit elements, a harmonious structure and already well-integrated tannins. Satisfying finish. To be decanted at least 60-90 minutes. A pleasure to drink now, but has good signs for another 2-3 years.
  
  De instapwijn van het domein ‘Quinta Quietud’ (opgestart in 1999, biologische wijnbouw, gemaakt van jongere aanplant). Honderd percent Tinta de Toro-wijn; 40 percent van de wijn rijpte in roestvrij stalen tanks, de resterende 60 percent verbleef zes maanden in Amerikaanse en Franse Allier-barriques (1/2 nieuw, 1/2 tweede gebruik). Zeer vergelijkbaar in stijl met de vorige jaargangen, misschien een tikkeltje minder geconcentreerd, maar nog steeds met een voortreffelijke prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Donker kersrood van kleur met violette schakeringen aan de rand van het glas. Jeugdige neus met aroma’s van rijpe rode en zwarte bessen, pruimen, leder en een spoor van witte peper. Een elegante en sappige wijn, vol krachtig rood fruit, met een harmonieuze structuur en al goed geïntegreerde tannines. Bevredigende afdronk. Best 60-90 minuten op voorhand te decanteren. Verschaft nu al fraai drinkgenot en gaat zeker nog 2-3 jaar mee.
