Bright gold in color. 14.5% ABV. Gorgeous nose of tropical fruits, lemon oil and toasty oak. Full bodied with ample acidity. Rich and oily on the palate. Flavors of pears, mangos, Meyer Lemon and minerals. The spicy finishes seems to lingers for almost a minute. Delicious Chardonnay. Dehlinger is best know for their Pinot Noir but the Chardonnay program should not be overlooked. Best over the next 1-2 years.

Fourth (and last) time for this. Time has helped round out the rough edges from previous tastings (November 2016 and 2015). There is no fruit left (so keep that in mind regarding expectations), but what remains is uber smooth and buttery without being obnoxious about it. Aerate for 3 hours and serve chilled...approx 55 degrees. Good luck.

Beautiful balance of vanilla cream brulee, carmel and light apricot. Perfect pairing with Dungeness Crab.
