I absolutely love the wines that the MacPhail's make. I love my Pinot's that have earthiness to them and MacPhail's Gaps Crown and Sangiacomo Pinot's have that! For the most part, the Mardikian label does fall in line with that theme, but its just a bit different, in a good way! This does have a very good balance between fruit and earth with just enough tannin to give it a punch. I imagine their next vintages of this wine will be even better!

from the first sip, this wine just exploded with flavors. Sweet cherry, wood and earth that attacks your palate. delightful!

Lighter, mature color with a nice array of fruit flavors. Opened up nicely over a couple of hours. Still has some life to it but ready to drink now.
