  Fill into neck. Lovely ruby-garnet color, a bit pale. Fine balance of fruit and tawny notes. But the hot spirit really dominated the overall light package.

  This was served at the end of a long day of drinking and it would not be fair for me to write much about it given my blunted senses by then. I do remember enjoying it :)

  A Portnight (Fem Bord, Trondheim): Slightly oxidative nose with some spice, caramel/nuts, a hint of forest floor; moderate sweetness and body, decent length, a combination of being a bit too weak and coarse at the same time.
