Deze 2011 is nog steeds goed drinkbaar. Kersen, mooi zuurtje en nog nette rijpe tannine aanwezig. Doorschijnend donkerrood in het glas. Mooi bij de pasta met een saus van Jackfruit in tomatensaus.

Nice big full mouth but flavors all hit together. Flavor was still fresh and fruity. Maybe those flavors will separate back with time? I enjoyed it but was disappointed that it was "nothing Special"

Further to my Note of Sept 18, '19: Decanted with almost no sediment. Good color, paired well with savory non-tomato pasta (don't recall but likely pesto shrimp). The food allowed the fruit to show through this time. Given its slow aging, it stays at notable+.

Further to my TN of July 16 '18: Decanted with no visible sediment. Seemed to have lost some fruit, but we were having this with a somewhat spicy pasta so I won't conclude that--probably not a good pairing.

this wine has never really shown any type of fruit. Just a lot of tannins
