  Good fruit taste upfront but not much after that. Fairly average mid pallate and finish. Lots better Zins from Alexander Valley out there

  This is one special Zin. Decanted for an hour and a half. Prune and currant and a little hot on the nose as it blows off the 15.2% alcohol. On the initial palate, dark fruit and smoke emerge. The wine has a lush dry mouthfeel and a lasting finish of spice and cedar.
