  • I would hazard saying this is drinking as well as it will get. Fruit is still prominent and well intergrated, tannins are smooth and soft. All in all a lovely drop.

  • Would be a fun wine to use in a blind tasting. Quite obviously Shiraz but it's pretty far removed from the typical high ABV and rich styles that you would expect from the region. Drank better on the second night so give plenty of time in a decanter. Reminds me of Mourvèdre a bit. Very savoury. The fruit took a while to show, when it did it was Blueberry and Spice. The acidity is on the high side. Not imbalanced but just not what I would expect from the variety and region. Overall this is elegant and restrained just as you would expect from Bindi. The variety and region certainly raise an eyebrow hence why it would be fun to surprise friends in a wine options game. Underpriced at $35rrp.

  • Deep Violet Ruby Red in colour at Nov 2016. young nice
Sweet newish oak not old timber with lovely plummy ripe fruit some spice too. nice On the palate shows ripe fruit flavours ,plums , prune syrah like flavours with medium bodied mid palate sweetness an good tannin to loose with age nice acid too. Not as good as 2012 but v/good , slightly different style as more up front in flavour. Still using cork here an they might liked it that way , but prefer them to move to stelvin in time. Nice effort. For the money worth buying as not expensive . another year or so will be excellent drinking , good food wine , with many tomato based foods .
