{Visit to Oddero} The grapes for this wine come from two different communes - Castiglione Falletto and La Morra - and average approximately 40 yrs of age. All tank-raised, this garnet toward ruby effort offers a very pretty, if at times ripe-ish nose of cranberry, raspberry, red licorice. Lightly smoky at times. Fresh, full attack, with plenty of tang to the medium, almond and plum laced finish. Medium-bodied, medium+ persistence. 13,0% abv. recommended
