  Fully developed. Nose of ripe strawberries, forest floor and a touch of leather. Very well-balanced with both acidity and a light tannic grip left.
  Served with wagyu tataki which worked well.
  Drink now.

  It had soft tannin and vanilla note at the end. The fruit was subdued. Since it’s a California Pinot Noir, I was expecting more fruit. I’m not sure if that was because it was at the end of the drinking window or it was not stored well. I got this bottle from a local wine store in Kentucky while traveling.

  Tannins have smoothed and the fruit is bright and more harmonious than my first bottle back in 2020.
