Bought some bottles in Montepulciano. Everything tastes better when you're at the source. This was expensive for the bottle. seriously browning edge. Going to enjoy with pizza tonight. Take my mind back to a wonderful trip to Italy

color dark burgundy, earth and barnyard nose, palate of dark cherry with moderate tannin, short finish, typical nobile, likely too early. opened up well after an hour.

A nice wine. Has a little roughness but also some nice tannins and almost smoky qualities.
