I was hoping for a "wow" but didn't get it. Required a lengthy decant before becoming palatable, and in fact had to wait for the next day to enjoy it. Still, enjoy it I did!

2nd time I've had this and it's vastly improved with age. Dark blood-red in the glass with aromas of blue and black fruit, sage, cedar and thyme. Very elegant on the palate; quite rich and soft. Flavors of blue and ripe red fruit, dried herbs, cedar and dried leaves.

shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of another week of SIP due to COVID-19. i continue to prune the cellar of bottles with expired drink by dates. The wine presents with an elegant nose full of dark skin fruit aromas. On the palate, this is a complex wine with multiple taste components, the mos prominent of which is cocoa. firm body. long finish. fine tannin. very enjoyable now but can also benefit for further time in bottle. overall, a remarkable wine. wish i had purchased more.

Lovely aromatics. Cassis, black currants, cherry wood, spices, cocoa, and a whiff of camphor. Open, expressive, and complex in the mouth, with melted tannin, deceptive length, and flavors that stay juicy, delineated, and tasty from start to finish. Well made, especially in a trying vintage.

Improved about 2 hrs into PnP -- quite drinkable still on day 3. Probably not getting much better... '11 is what it is.
