  Similar to the bottle I had during the summer. We opened 3 hours prior to dinner and then poured through a soiree. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was blackberry, tobacco, fig and a touch of dried leaves. The finish is long. This wine is in really good place. 93+

  Part of a "Little Brother" or 2nd wine night with my wine group at a NYC restaurant. It was opened, but not decanted for over an hour before pouring. Both mine and the group favorite. It tasted a little muted at first, so I think it would have benefited from an hour long decant. It only started to bloom after 30 minutes in a 1/3 full wine glass. Then it was magnificent. Full bodied with a long finish.

  It has been over a year since I last tried a bottle. We opened 3 hours prior to dinner and then poured through a soiree. Dark fruit on the nose.
