Big black fruit, delicious, with a persistent savory finish. This has lots of time left to drink it. 3 to 5 more years, I’d say, but drinking great now.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune, fig and light toast. It tastes like raspberry and red currant. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

A heavyweight of a Rhone ranger, but with an excellent fruit core and well crafted indeed. I kept on thinking "bluberry buckle" ascI drank it, the sweet vaniila cobbler flavor of the dark monster was so nicely rewarding. I used to think these win s could be drunk in the first few years after bottling, now I'm rethinking that a minimum of four years is needed for best returns.

Served at the ORD Polaris lounge. Big juicy blueberries, a pile of oak, and none of the peppery stuff. Makes me wish I was drinking a N. Rhone red, but totally quaffable. Will certainly do its part in helping to put me asleep on this overnight flight.
