Aromas of papaya, pineapple and mango. On the palate, not as big as the nose with flavors of tropical fruit, lemon and papaya. Ends with a decent finish of 10-15 seconds.

S: honeysuckle, lily, very floral notes T: golden delicious apples, slight sweet mixed with tart, great balance, acidic finish of lemon and melon. Pretty nice Chardonnay for $13. Good QPR.

A somewhat slim Napa white that delivers surely under $15. Pear and apple, underplayed butter and creaminess, spice, mineral and light acidic structure. Clean and alert, the increasingly common antidote to yesteryear's overblown west coast Chard. I'd guess a mix of oak and stainless finishing. An easy one for the next dinner party.

Given the press on this wine, I really don't get it. Just totally underwhelming for RRV Chardonnay, even if it was only $13. Meh city.
