Blew away expectations. Floral, red fruit, light bodied, with a tinge of orange peel on the finish. Fresh, vibrant and zesty. Drinking tremendously well right now. Cellared for 2+ years since release.

Pretty consistent with my prior note. Nice enough wine but lacking in character. Kind of bordering on too dense and weighty for Pinot. Has a fairly short finish for a wine of this price.

Composite cork. Deep ruby colour, aromas of nutmeg, orange rind, fennel, and lashings of sweet vanilla from what I can only assume is a fair whack of new american oak. It almost overpowers the fruit profile underneath. Very little tannins to speak of. Yet it's quite full bodied for a pinot. There's more of a structured fruit profile on the palate with some lovely silky sour cherries and herbs, but the sweet vanilla character features prominently again. The length of fruit on the aftertaste is great, but overall this is a bit tightly wound at the moment. I'm hoping it will improve with some time in the bottle. Edit: by day 2, this had fallen over and was an empty shell of a wine. By day 3, it was pretty much vinegar. Hmm.

Purchased and consumed at a restaurant and thus no notes. Expressive nose of red fruits, florals and earthy/brambly aromas. Nice depth and intensity of fruit flavors, and with that same rustic character as on the nose. Juicy mouthfeel with plenty of structure and grip. Overall an intriguing, fruity, bright, complex wine that is drinking great now, and will certainly improve over the next few years. I obviously had a very different wine from the one described by the most recent previous tasters.

Pretty disjointed in it's youth. Nice complexities of ripe fruit, forrest floor, fungus, cedar, tobacco but not coming together at this stage even on the 3rd day. I would recommend holding for a few more years at least.
