Unfortunately the fruit was gone. This wine was totally dead with no flavor left. This is the second bottle of Adam’s Bench wine that was like this. I think one should drink this sooner rather than later.

A bit of a beast - remarkable depth. Oak quite prominent at this point and the tannins are gritty and dominating. Lurking below oak and tannin is cassis, lead and - an Adams Bench trademark - baker's chocolate. Good stuff if I live long enough.
