I liked it. Syrah with a large dose of Tuscan sunshine. Quite viscous and dark. Some warmth of the vintage too. Decent interest. Not amazing and not truly balanced and complete, but very nice nonethless. Would buy all this producers wines again, but just get at that the right price.

Splash decanted. Excellent out of the bottle, better after 2 hours in the decanter. Superb dark black fruit, black licorice, boysenberry pie, dank ripe strawberry, minimal tannins that are smooth and mellow. Drink now with 2 hour decant or hold for 10+ years.

Decanted 3 hours, absolutely delicious with carne asada. Once the food had been consumed, tannin profile declared itself as much more prominent than I would have thought during dinner. Think this is a great value at 50-60 USD. Next bottle 2020+

This is a really gorgeous bottle of wine. I was skeptical about a tyscan Syrah but I really love this wine. It was rockin right out if the bottle. The nose expanded after about 30 mins in the decanter. The nose is all smoke, bacon, blackberries and bramble. It tasted much more focused and detailed than the nose implied. There’s a nice level of acidity that provides a very interesting twist at the end. It’s a middle weight dazzler that relies as much on focus and detail as it does power.

Straight out of the bottle it has this meat, smokey (it means on the stones), and sweet fruit. That smells delicious. Very supply on the palate, really sexy stuff. Finishes on its acidity. Barrique and stem inclusion.
