Part of a three-year vertical striploin dinner - 2012 thru 2014. The 2012 was smooth and beginning to show its tertiary nature with stewed black fruits and a smoked meat / cured bacon nose. Well-balanced and long finish. However. wasn't the group's favourite PR Syrah of the night.

Six Nations 2016: Green notes, with pepper and a little raspberry. A bit too thin on the palate, without the complimentary elements to take on the under ripe notes.

Great spot. Some spank left in it. Tasty now or anytime in 2020.

Six nations tasting (49 King Street Wharf): Savoury but perfumed with peppery elements, meaty…savoury, peppery and meaty on the palate with talc textured tannins. Okay
