Simply a wonderful expression of Cabernet Franc from Washington. It drinks well above the price point. Great juice.

Red and black fruit combine with trail dust, light cedar notes, wild herbs tobacco and spring flowers. There is so much going on in the glass. This Cabernet Franc will compete nicely against Napa iterations. Layers upon layers of goodness. Delightful nose too. Great juice.

The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): Second Cadence that had JUST enough VA to call off and down the drain. Very drinkable and many wouldn't notice but there were too many other good wines out tonight!

- Brick color - Very intense green pepper aromas, black currants, and spice. Full body, moderate acidity, bold tannins, long finish. Dark fruit flavors. Good balance, the Merlot smooths out the Cabernet Franc.
