  Tasted September 9, 2006. Opened and served immediately. Like raspberry color in the glass, slightly cloudy looking. Nose of black berries, graham crackers and tar. Flavors of black berries, mint and raspberries. Light acidity, tannins and body. Slightly high alcohol. Drink over the short term. Based on the Von’s retail price of $20.00 a bottle I’d say the value here is acceptable.
